About the Role

We're looking for a Staff Engineer to join our engineering team. This is a senior technical leadership role where you'll help shape the architecture of our platform and build the systems that will power the next generation of enterprise AI tools.

You'll work directly with our VP of Engineering, Security Team, and CEO on architectural decisions, integration design, and product development. We're a small, senior team that moves fast and values autonomy—you'll have significant ownership over technical direction.

What You'll Do

• Drive architectural decisions for a rapidly evolving AI platform processing data from dozens of enterprise integrations
• Build real-time data processing systems that ingest, classify, and surface insights from email, meetings, CRM, and messaging
• Collaborate on front-end development for a high quality user experience
• Establish engineering best practices and help grow the engineering team as we scale

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated architectural leadership
• Experience with modern deployment platforms and infrastructure
• Solid experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, or big data storage
• Ability to read, understand, and reason about complex systems
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a small, fast-moving team

Highly Valued:

• AI agent and/or RAG pipeline development experience - especially for something in production with real customers
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise across the modern web stack
• Solid PostgreSQL and database design experience
• OAuth2 implementation experience (especially with enterprise identity providers)
• Experience with real-time features (websockets, streaming, Server-Sent Events)
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise security requirements (SOC 2, GDPR)

Nice to Have:

• React and modern front-end ecosystem expertise
• Experience with LLM integration and AI application development
• Background in enterprise software or B2B platforms
• Experience interviewing with potential candidates
• Experience mentoring colleagues
