Introducing Huper: The AI Chief of Staff for Leaders Who Can't Afford to Fly Blind

Mid-level managers lose 25–50% of their time to overhead. Status chasing. Update aggregation. Meetings that exist only because no system tracks what actually happened. Senior leaders have it worse—making high-stakes decisions based on dashboards that were stale before they loaded, pipeline numbers that are optimistic by nature, and board decks that passed through a political filter before reaching them.

This is the overhead tax. And it's about to get exponentially worse.

AI agents are flooding into organizations, and the volume of activity is exploding while visibility collapses. A sales team with 5 humans and 15 AI agents sending emails, updating CRMs, and drafting proposals around the clock creates more commitments, more decisions, and more opportunities for things to fall through the cracks than any human can manually track.

Today, we're introducing Huper: an AI Chief of Staff built for leaders facing this reality.

What Huper Does

Most AI assistants retrieve documents on demand. You ask a question, they find something. Huper is different. It maintains an always-current understanding of organizational state by continuously ingesting data from email, CRM, meetings, messaging, and code repositories.

When a sales rep sends an email to a prospect, Huper classifies it, integrates it into the running narrative of that deal, and connects it to every related CRM update, meeting transcript, and Slack thread. Data aggregates upward through the organization in real-time. No one compiling reports. No one chasing updates.

Leaders can ask complex, cross-functional questions ("Based on our pipeline, product progress, and go-to-market timeline, create three ARR forecast scenarios for 2026") and receive synthesized answers in seconds—work that would traditionally require weeks of cross-departmental coordination.

Huper also runs 24/7 in the background, tracking every promise made in emails and meetings—both what you owe others and what others owe you—and follows up automatically so you don't spend your days chasing people for information.

Why PE Funds and Portfolio Companies First

We're launching with mid-market private equity funds and their portfolio companies. The pain here is acute.

A managing partner overseeing 12 portfolio companies today relies on monthly board decks and quarterly reviews. Information that's weeks old by the time it arrives. When a portfolio company's sales pipeline is deteriorating, they find out too late. When a key executive is disengaging, they learn about it at the resignation.

Huper gives fund leadership continuous visibility across the portfolio while giving portfolio company leaders the infrastructure to run higher-performing organizations. The fund gets better oversight. The companies get a genuine operational advantage. Incentives aligned.

Built by Security Professionals

This is where our background matters.

Our team brings more than 50 combined years of experience protecting some of the world's most important companies and institutions. We have led global security companies, built and operated mission-critical systems, and helped enterprises make sense of complex security data at scale. Across industry and research environments, we've worked on some of the most sensitive and high-stakes challenges in cybersecurity.

We didn't build a product and then add security later. Security architecture was the starting point.

Huper uses Bring Your Own Key encryption—customers retain their master key in their own environment, and we literally cannot access their data without explicit authorization. LLM processing runs on Azure OpenAI with Zero Data Retention, contractually guaranteed. For the regulated industries we serve, this isn't a nice-to-have. It's the prerequisite that determines whether we get past the first conversation.

Our Pre-Seed Round

Huper recently closed a $1.5 million pre-seed round led by Nadia Partners, with participation from Link Ventures and Jim Brown. These investors bring real experience across enterprise software, cybersecurity, and financial services—and they've been active thought partners as we shape both the product and the go-to-market.

The Founding Team

Huper was founded by operators who've spent their careers inside complex, high-stakes environments.

I previously worked in product management at Kudelski Security, helping global enterprises make sense of security data and respond faster to emerging threats. Andrew Howard, our Chairman, currently also serves as CEO of Lockchain.ai. And Aidan Kehoe, Founder and Managing Partner of Nadia Partners, has built multiple security and AI companies including SKOUT, AI One, Talli, and Hatz.

What's Next

We're about to kick off an invitation-only alpha with design partners. We're targeting a broader market launch later this year.

Looking Ahead

Time is the scarcest resource leaders have. Organizations are only as effective as the decisions they make. Huper exists to protect that time and improve those decisions.

To our team, our investors, and our early believers: thank you. Building a company is never linear, but when the mission is clear, the work is worth it.

Scale your leadership. Amplify your humanity.
